Movie Freebie: When In Rome

Sorry, I've just offered the extra free tickets to my colleagues because I didn't want to ask them so last minute like tomorrow! 

I don't know why Mix.fm always sms to inform me one day before the movie in the afternoon. It's quite last minute and makes me panic, trying to find people to go with (and you'll be surprised even though it is free, some people are fussy!!) I've burned free tickets before too because no one wants to go. *sob*

I am going to watch "When in Rome "and all my guy friends gave me a look when I offered them free tickets. Hmphh! Next time I win those macho shows, I won't invite them. (sighh... when was the last time I got to watch a nice romantic movie with my bf. It's always sci-fi, action pack, fight, computer-games inspired, etc.)

The story line? (Taken from wikipedia)

A successful and single Guggenheim art curator Beth (Kristen Bell) is at a point in her life where love seems like a luxury she just can't afford. Years of waiting for that perfect romance has made Beth bitter. One day, she goes to Rome to attend her younger sister's impulsive wedding. While there, she picks up coins from a reputed “fountain of love” (probably based on the Trevi Fountain). Almost immediately thereafter, she is pursued back to New York by a band of aggressive suitors whose coins she took, including a diminutive sausage magnate (Danny DeVito), a lanky street magician (Jon Heder), a doting painter (Will Arnett), and a narcissistic male model (Dax Shepard). Meanwhile, a smitten reporter (Josh Duhamel) does his best to convince Beth that true love isn't just a topic of fairy tales and romance novels

Oh well, I've 2 more tickets left to give to someone.. any takers? It's tomorrow night in 1u.

It'll be interesting watching the silliness of the pursuit. After all, what's life without comedies! :)
